2015 1500 Front Diff Yanked In Half

So The Front Dif is Broken From The Tube that goes to the passenger side. When I spin the passenger side tire the shaft in the tube spins and is completely yanked out of the dif. I can literally jerk the dif up and down never seen anything like it. My concern is if I removed the cv axles at least the one on the passenger side will it be safe to drive in 2wd? I know I need a new front dif assembly but in the mean time is it safe to free the front wheels from the front differential?

What is going to keep the fluid in the differential without a CV axle?

At this point there is no fluid in the differential it’s major broken

Would not recommend driving it.
