Hello Gang, We bought a used 2013 Suburban LTZ about a year ago. We have since bought a travel trailer to tow around with it. We have had 5 other suburbans so I'm very familiar with towing a trailer. I have never had any issues with towing an uneven truck/trailer combination. With this latest Suburban it has some kind of Auto-Ride suspension system. Now comes my question. For some unknown reason the rear end of the Suburban is uneven side to side by a good inch. I was able to borrow a snap-on scanner briefly and it confirmed that the sensors on the rear were indeed off by one inch. So I decided to just unplug the air lines off of the rear shocks. This did not change the side to side difference. Everything appears to be intact and in it's original position. So I'm guessing it's got something to do with the front end suspension. Can anyone guide me in the right direction as to what I'm looking for or at to rectify this uneven suspension. It does this both with and without the trailer hooked up. I'm stumped:confused:

did you check when you bought it for any accident history?
You are sure you dont have a bad shock in one corner?
you have no warning lights on?
what code if any did you detect with the scanner?

Hello, Checked Carfax before buying car had 26,000 on it. hours were also low.
Not sure about the shocks none are leaking any oil. As for the rear shocks we tried to inflate them the the max still had a 1 inch difference. Scanner showed no codes at all just used it to read the rear body sensors.

Well I guess this is going to be a non issue. My wife has decided that she really wants a fifth wheel trailer in the next couple of years. So we will be getting rid of this Suburban and picking up a Silverado 2500HD LTZ:D. Let the shopping begin. Thank everyone for your help on this issue.
