I have a 2012 traverse and I get 13-14 MPG in city less than mu honda truck. Is tis normal and will it improve?
 
EPA rates it at 17 city. How many miles are on it? Do you make sure the tires are properly inflated when cold? Are you an aggressive driver?
 
You dont have that many miles on it, see if it gets better once past 5K.

I agree with Zora put 5,000 to 6,000 miles on your vehicle to get an accurate MPG. If you notice that there is no change then I would recommend contacting your local GM dealer to have proper diagnosis. Please feel free to let me know if you have any questions comments or concerns.
