I have a 2011 Chevy Silverado, can I do a muffler delete on this and run just the converters without screwing up the computer system or not? I have been told yes and no, what is the truth? Any truthful help would be appreciated:)

what do the mufflers have to do with the computer system? All the sensors are before and immediately after the cat. You may need ear plugs.

Because I was told there won't be any back pressure so it would send codes to the computer and turn check engine light on?

and if you put on straight through mufflers the light will come on? NO! Neither will removing the mufflers completely but the sound may become annoying after awhile.

Ok, let me ask you a question, no disrespect here but are you a mechanic ? Or someone just answering my question?

I am an individual who is not currently employed as a mechanic but I did have an ASE certification. The people who are telling you it will throw a code, are they ASE certified? Did you understand my comparison with people who install straight through mufflers and have no issues? Are you familar with how the O2 sensors function? You do realize people install headers on their vehicles and as long as they weld in the bongs for the O2 sensors the computer has no problems.
