2010 Malibu Wipers come on by themselves

Hello, just looking for suggestions. Our 2010 Malibu's windshield wipers have been coming on by themselves for the past couple of years. They normally do not come on except in warmer temps (didn't come on during the winter). We pulled the fuse for the wipers, but they still came on once the car was taken out of park and the fuse pulled out. We thought we got it fixed after Firestone said they replaced the motor, but it's still happening. We are at our wits end to figure out what's wrong. I am taking it back to the Firestone because they said they fixed it and they need to recheck it. Just wanted to go back in with suggestions of what could be going on. Only two things come to mind is a wiper relay or a short in the switch circuit.

Sounds like a wiring issue. I would check the wire from the switch going to the motor.
