I can get either one but can't decide which one, the corvette would be cheaper though, which would you rather have?, im single and have no kids.

Both jesm and aaaaromas or whatever are idiots. The Vette has an extremely strong, well built structure. It is a very safe car, and always has been (comparably) Any bad rep that may exist comes from driver error. If the car can go a lot faster than other cars, then when it wrecks there will be more damage. Corvettes are the flagship Chevy. They are the fastest, best handling, and best quality. If given the choice between the two, the Corvette wins, hands down. The Camaro is a nice car, but they have never been in the same catagory.

Well if you want to be original the Camaro stick has it's shock value for the time being. I bet anyone you speak to would have seen at least 10 corvettes on any given day. But apart from that I guess you;d really have to drive both. The only camaro I have ever driven was an 80 camaro 2nd Gen so I would be no help.

I can't imagine an easier choice. The Camaro is new and driving emotions and that is about it. It can't compete in any category except it can hold 2 more people. Other than that, the Z06 destroys it in any performance category while still getting better gas mileage. If you can't decide at least between a C6 Z06 and a new Camaro, I would say something is wrong with anyone that has driven both. The new Camaro can't outperform a "regular" C6 corvette and it's not in the same world a C6 Z06.

well seeing you made it a point to say you have no kids or girl you want the camaro. it will be more likely that it will get you some tang. girls dont care about vets and the camaro was in a popular movie and girls dig things they have seen before in something popular.

neither. You would have to know very little about cars to want either, or you would just have to be driving it for looks or racing in a straight line with lots of money because you don't care about repairs.

Jessn, you're completely off. The Corvette is a pretty safe car...having fiberglass body panels compared to steel isn't a big deal, all of the outer body panels on these cars are designed to break away or crumble...so your theory is completely off. The only real advantage is parking lot dings and minor accidents...it'd be easier to repair the Camaro due to the metal panels instead of fiberglass. The Corvette has a very strong frame, the Camaro has a pretty stiff unibody. So yeah....and you think the only difference between the 2 is curb weight? Yeah....ok. I have both a Corvette and Fbody...while the Fbody is more fun to drive the Corvette is a WAY better built vehicle in terms and quality and performance(talking stock for stock vs a Fbody). Go drive both and see for yourself instead of reading on the internet.

Anyway, the new SS is a quick car but the ZO6 is a beast...but you're talking about 2 different generations in your question. '04 is a C5, other is a C6...BIG difference.

Both ZO6's are faster than the SS...both will handle better too. I'd personally go with a '06 ZO6. The only drawback is that it's a 2 seater but then again the back seat in the Camaro is pretty much useless.

think of it this way, if you wreck or smack a ditch with the all fiberglass corvette, the corvette is JUNK and/or you are going to the hospital or a MORGUE.

seriously, look at the new camaro, its a goddamn beast! AND its made of STEEL so if you hit something, it bitches out, not you!

people tend to think of newer corvette drivers as ass munches that have enough money to die behind the wheel of a car to save 5-600lbs off the curb weight.
