I am changing the brake pads on my 2008 Chevy Silverado and when I put the new pads in the clips they are very tight. I cleaned the clips thoroughly and to get the pads in I have to literally take a hammer and tap them in place until they are against the rotor. I have changed the brakes on my other cars and never have experienced this. I thought the pads had to have a little movement so they would slide on clips. Please let me know if anyone else is experiencing this with their chevy truck.
