2007 Suburban Not Starting

My 2007 Suburban is having problems with starting. The truck will not start sometimes. There appears to be no common reason between the incidents. Recently the check engine light and the security light stay on when the ignition switch it taken to start, however the truck won't start. The engine will not crank or anything. After the truck starts, the security lights blinks on and off for some time. I suspect the security system is preventing the truck from starting. Any help would be appreciated.
