Hi folks! I've searched high and low on the internet for this and cant find an answer.
Yesterday I brought home an 07 Suburban LTZ (pretty high mileage) and its great (so far) but I was looking at upgrading the head unit to something with Apple Car Play. I have used Apple Car Play before and really like it. No need to mess with my phone while driving... So I've found lots of head units that are compatible (mostly on amazon) and many of them would work just fine... however I cannot seem to determine how the second overhead screen will be utilized on the new head unit. I have a 3 year old that I'm real excited to be able to allow him to watch some entertainment in the rear. I don't care if it comes out of the speakers or bluetooth headset... What I'm trying to determine is... is there ANY headunit out there aftermarket that yall have found - that can do navigation on the front main screen WHILE simultaneously displaying media on the overhead for the back passengers? (like the current 07 headunit does)
I've only found one on amazon that even indicates it supports a second screen. On that one - I asked the question through amazons ask a question feature if this option was possible and I received a resounding no.
Any suggestions?
