2007 malibu maxx traction control

Heres my problem. I put new strut assembies in the front of my wifes car both sides . No problems at first about 4 days later one started to squeak and two weeks later the check engine light came on and they both squeak. The message display says service traction. Any ideas other than a chevy dealership LOL!!

check the wire harness going to the ABS sensors and the sensors themselves for damage
