2007 ltz problem with keyless entry

hey guys.. im new to the board so hello to all first off!!

i am also a new suburban owner.. my wife and i just picked up a nice 07 ltz.. its got every bell and whistle on it..

the problem being im having a problem with the remotes.. if you walk out to it say in the morning the unlock button wont work. you have to unlock it with the key. just after that you can use the remote to lock, unlock, remote start... if you drive it and park it.. get out and hit the lock button it will lock and unlock and lock again... go in to the store and try to unlock it again and it wont work..

question being.. is there a feature on the DIC will enable/disable a feature of such? i looked through the owners manual and nothing caught my eye

i did replace both batteries. and i ordered new remotes..

any input would be much appreciated !!

researched a little more found a temporary fix.. pulling the fuse out and reinstalling it.. i havent found anything on a service bulletin though anyone know if it has a permanent fix?

You may have a BCM issue but try the new remote first

Hey I just bought a 07 suburban had same issue ya need new key receiver part number 20803735 easy to install located drivers side by the tail gate remove side molding near the top. one screw just snaps on Ya will need the dealer the flash it to the truck it controlls the tpms system also hope it helps
