I replaced the battery and when I hooked it up the car tries to start itself until I take the cables off. I took off the starter and had it tested and it passed, when I put it back in it did the same as before. Could it be a problem with ignition?
The starter was working fine prior to the battery being dead. My key was stuck in the ignition (security lock), when I put in the new battery the key came out but the starter would try and start constantly even w/o the key in the switch. That's when I took the starter to get it tested and it was fine. I don't know if it could be a bad relay or a bad ignition switch.
