So my car was parked half on the curb outside my house... I went to leave and the steering wheel is locked up, and the car won't even turn over in the ignition. I have no idea what is wrong with it, it has done this before when I was trying to get my key out.. but never like this. I looked in to manuel it says something about the car being on some theft lock, and to press a button on the steering wheel while turning the key. I have tried that and still nothing.. it wont even budge a little. Everything is just locked up. Can anyone help me? Or give me advice what to do? I tried calling places but no one is working on a Sunday. I know that there is a lot of problems with this issue.. also I know that there is a 5 year warranty on my car but I don't know if it is still active its under 100k miles. ANYONE HELP PLEASE!

you might try putting a jumper box to your battery, this worked for me but a week later the key would not turn off to stop the engine, had to pull the fuse for the fuel pump and unhook battery. service dept. said a clip came off something, will findout more when I pick up vehicle.
