Ok so I just recently hooked up a stereo speaker to my truck. It was from a normal home "boom-box" you could say, a Panasonic stereo system, anyways I took the speaker off of it and plugged it into were my door speakers were, the Speaker is behind my seat and I ran the wires under my seat to the door speaker area, I cut the wires from the original door speaker and "Rigged" them into the stereo speaker wires.
After I done this everything seemed to work fine, then I went up to Wally World to buy an Amp and speakers, and I noticed when I opened my door my radio doesn't go off like it normally does? So I was like ok no biggie just turn it off as I get out, well that night, the Dome light in my truck started to not work, and the dash lights where the spedometer and RPM gauge and everything is at, WON'T turn off, I have to turn them off manually also.
What have I done? Is this a fuse problem? Or did I do something terribly wrong? lol
Any info is greatly appreaciated
