2005 Chevy Cobalt check engine light blinking?

This morning my 2005 Chevy Cobalt was very difficult to start, when it finally did, the check engine light was blinking and the idle was very low. (it has a 1/4 tank of fuel) I turned the engine off and drove my truck to work instead. Approximately 6 months ago I had an O2 sensor that showed bad and was replaced. This new ailment was seemingly "out of the blue:" I drove it yesterday and it appeared fine. Help!

When ever the check engine light blinks that means there is a big problem,so get it some were and get the code or codes read.

I would get the trouble code scanned, Then replace the sensor that failed. Should work then.
