2004 LT AC Question

I am new here and need a question answered.

My 04 Suburban has been an excellent truck and has never given me a days problem until recently.

I have the dual Climate Control system and the drivers side is doing something wierd. Every once in a while it will go from AC to heat all by itself. the only way I can get it back to AC is to shut off the ignition and restart.
It appears this would be some sort of thermostat issue or a sensor issue?
Where should I start to look to diagnose?

There is a sensor or module under the dash, one for each side and it sounds like you need a new one. If you call your local GM parts dept they should know. I have had mine go bad and know a few friends with same problem.
