my 2004 chevy cavalier i have owned for a long time now and never had a problem with it. i went to a fuel station i normally dont go to the other day.i bought about 5 gallons of gas from them. later on in the i had to go get my son from school the car started fine. but after i got him from school and tried to restart the car. it hesitated when it started i had to flutter the gas pedal to keep it running. same thing went to do laundry and it did it again.both times after the initial hesitation when the engine warmed the car ran smooth.it seemed like when the car started to get cold that it didnt want to start. after i got home and the car cooled down it tried to start hesitated for a second then died.it was really cold out that night so i waited a day before trying to start it again the temp today is in the low 40's when it had been as low as 5 degrees. im wondering if there was water in the fuel i bought and it froze my gas lines up? there is a newer fuel filter on the car and the fuel pump is fine. any input would be appreciated and any tips to get it started will really help thanks
just tried a bottle of heet shook car so it would mix and still nothing :(

You could buy a bottle of gas drier at Wal-mart and that should solve your worries about water in the gas. It might also cure the problem.

you might have water in the gas..or bought bad gas...try a fuel additive and see if that helps
