2004 chevy cavalier: the lights at the gearshift don't work ,all fuses are...

...ok,wants wrong? some of the cd/radio lights don't work, and when the door is open and lights on with key in ignition, the warning bells don't come on. All fuses are ok , WHAT IS THE RELAY ,

The relay is located under the hood in a box that will often have standard fuses as well. They tend to be large,black and square(about 1 inch by 1 inch).
Check around both fenders inside the hood for a removable cover to see these relays. There is usually a diagram on the inside of the cover to tell you which relay is for what.
