...on.? Light on my dashboards comes on and the Open air bag symbol also lights up. How can I fix this, I am so scared do to info. I read on the manual

this could cause the passengers air bag to open! Please help! I would greatly appreciate it!

The best thing you can do is go to a shop. Air bag lights require specail diag tools, and an ametur poking around with the air bag system can end up hurt ot killed if the air bag accidently goes off. If you choose to do nothing, don't worry about the air bags going off. the system is designed to NOT allow that to happen. but if you get in an accident though the air bags will not deploy.

There is a good chance you've shoved something under the seat that damaged the seat sensor on the passenger seat.

The other possibility is that you've been digging around under the dashboard and disconnected a yellow connector that connects the steering column to the the body controller.

Regardless, one of the sensors isn't working right.

I don't know what info you're reading in the manual, but don't worry about the airbag. It needs a good jolt to deploy.

You don't need to be scared it's not going to open,it takes a good hit to cause the air bag to open up, I see vehicle's almost everyday with there air bag light on, most of the time it's just a bad ground that causes the light to come on,or someone has screwed around under the dash and caused one of the yellow wire to come unpluged ,causing the light to come on. Some times you can unhook the battery cable to reset the light ,if that don't reset it you will need to have someone to scan it to reset the light.
