2004 Avolanche clicking sound behind gloove box

This clicking sound is driving me mad. My passengers are afraid that there is a bomb clicking down to detonation. Anybody know what this is and how do I get to it to replace it. The clicking is loud sometimes, low sometimes and nonexistent at other times. Help.

Typically sounds like that are caused by failing relays. Are you having any other issues with the vehicle?

Thank you Zora for getting back to me. I too believe its a relay or some type of solenoid, and no, there is no apparent problems with the vehicle.

If not too difficult trying removing the glove box compartment, I'm assuming there is one.
