2002 Chevrolet Malibu passenger window goes down, but not up?

My girlfriends car has an odd problem, her passenger front power window will go down, but not back up.
I replaced the motor and both switches, but to no avail.
The wires in the door jam show no signs of being open or shorted.
any ideas?
