2002 cheverlot surburban 1500 5.3 wont shift out of 2nd only code p0741

I have a 2002 chevy surburban 1500 5.3 that won't shift out of 2nd gear with a p0741 code please help just ordered shift solenoid and torque converter solenoid

Unless you have access to an advanced diagnostic device that is capable of activating components such as the solenoids you are just guessing. You can try replacing the parts you listed but a transmission shop is recommended.
