Need some help from ppl much smarter then I. My truck keeps wrecking its carrier bearing. The 2 piece driveshaft shifts towards the rear causing the failure of the rubber ring surrounding the carrier bearing. I replaced the first two myself and decided that the third should be done by a shop. The first two bearings failed within miles of replacement. Shop that did the third sent out the driveshafts and had them checked, balanced, and reassembled. Things were great for about 3 days. Now same problem is occurring. Not only does it seem that the driveshaft MUST be shifting, but what causes enough "pressure" to facilitate that shift. I am losing my mind and need some quality opinions. Thanks in advance.
