I replaced my rotors and brake pads, and in order to get a new rotor on the rear left tire I had to remove the old E brake shoe, which was wiggling around and kinda warped. I don't care about having an operative emergency brake, so I did not replace the old shoe with a new one. Is it okay to reassemble the brakes without the shoe? I drove it that way yesterday for a bit and everything seems to work fine.

What do mean by OK? As you have found out the hydraulic system is unaffected but you have disabled the parking brake function which you or someone else may someday need.

I mean will I loose any other brake functions other than my e brake. And is the tire safely installed without it.

Why would the wheel be effected by a missing brake shoe. The wheel attaches to the axle with the studs and nuts. Is there something else you haven't mentioned? The mechanical parking brake and hydraulic service brake are two separate systems. Why aren't you replacing the shoe?
