Newb here with hopes of getting steered in the right direction. I have had My 2001 Suburban for since new. First real problem I can't handle. tried to get out of the yard only to find that after getting on the road in front of my house i had no throttle response. Backed it in the yard and in park or neutral it would rev to the moon. When I put it in drive I still get no Throttle response. The engine does not run bad I cleaned the Mas Air flow sensor checked fuel pressure nothing worked. After a friend tried to read some code with none showing up we settled on chancing the APS. I swapped one out of his 08 suburban and it started working and I drove it about ten miles with no issues. Thinking we solved the problem I purchased a new pedal sensor. It did not work. I tried all of the internet tricks to reset the ECM with no luck. I then ordered the complete pedal assembly by my VIN. Still no luck. Again i tried All of the resetting tricks with same results. I next purchased one off a 2003 suburban at our local u-pick auto parts believing that it is already programed. Still no luck. My next move is to replace the throttle position sensor unless some help arrives. Only lights on the dash at times all of them. Our code readers only show misfire on number 6 cylinder. No other codes.
