2001 Chevy surburban k1500 4x4

I have issues with my 2001chevy surburban k1500 4x4,when I put it on drive it will go but then it will just stop moving like it was on neutral. I replaced the neutral safety switch but still does the same thing,I plug in the code reader but don't come up with any codes! It has a 4l60e tranny 4 speed what I was told.

The neutral safety switch only prevents the vehicle from starting in a forward or reverse gear it has nothing to do with the transmission appearing to be in neutral.
1. Have you checked the transmission fluid level?
2. How many miles since you replaced the transmission fluid and filter?
3. Does the transmission fluid have a burnt smell?
4. Have you checked the transmission shift cable to make sure it is not bent or incorrectly adjusted?
5. Do you have a check engine light on?
