the car itself hasnt been driven that much as you can see by the mileage, there are scratches, the back bumper is a little bent, not big at all, and one of the speaker outer round circle thing came off...aside from that it has leather seats, dvd, vhs, player etc..
how much do you think i would get in todays market selling this truck?
area is stamford, CT
also...15,000 is average mile on a car for a year..im guessing i should get a good deal since i drove way under the average?

A 9 year old truck with low miles should sell pretty easily, BUT this economy sucks. You'd be luck to get 6,000 for it. Whatever you do DON"T TRADE IT IN! The finance companies tag on a couple extra thousand to the price before finance charges are applied. They will claim they will give you a HIGH trade allowance, but they simply add it back into the principle before financing. ASK for the price of the vehicle before you say finance as if you have cash. Then MAKE SURE the price didn't jump when the good ole finance contract comes out carried by the smiling salesman!

Check the NADA website

Bluebook website and a myriad of other books to se what the retail of the truck is.

17,000 - 20,000 roughly. just depends on how bad the dent really is.

You can check Kelly Blue book and Edmunds online. I don't know if we're allowed to give url's here, but these are easy to figure out, or run a search. There is also something called the Black Book that is worth considering. I'm guessing that 20-25% of new is in the ballpark, but you're best off checking with the pros. It's also good to read the ads in your area, but remember, these are asking prices, not necessarily final sale prices.

You never know - if it's in great shape it may sell for a premium price. I saw this 2000 Suburban on auction and the asking price so far has remained very low. It might be a buyers market.
