I have a 2000 chevy malibu. I own it for a year and it has been nothing but a big headache. I replaced engine, altenator, ignition switch, battery, front wheel bearings and brakes. I refuse to fix the theft alarm chip because at 300 to replace its not guaranteed to fix the problem so I have to deal with 10 minutes of waiting for the light to go off. I basically rebuilt this car. Now my day time running lamps inside the dashboard don't go on. The lights do go on outside the car. My service vehicle soon light comes on if its not sunny out and the lights arent turned on manually. I checked the fuses and they are okay. Is there a fuse I am missing maybe inside the engine comparment fuse box? my mechanic has checked the car for computer codes and nothing comes up. He said its a cosmetic issue not and engine issue. Great help LOL, Any answers are appreciated.
