2.4 pze engine swap issues

I’ve swapped a 2011 2.4 ecotec federal emission engine into a Malibu the car was a pze California engine same year engine just one is federal emission one that came out is pze California engine just engine ran fine prier to installation now barely runs misses no power. Does anyone know of any issues doing this. Could it have jumped time turning crank to install torque converter bolts. Lots of cam crank map coalition codes I’ve cked wiring grounds and such.

So I presume the new engine was untested from a salvage yard?
What are the codes?
Did you install the matching ECM and engine wire harness?

Yes I heard the engine run for a very short time. No I was told did not need to change ecm. Also wiring reconnected perfectly

I’ve cked timing chain today each gear is one tooth off hopefully no valve damage. I’ll let everyone know after chain replacement
