Hi, I have a 99 suburban LT that the front heater switch only works on positions 1, 3 and 5. it doesn't work on positions 2 and 4. I bought a Haynes manual but it doesn't give a detailed description of the wiring on the circuit or how to test it. Is there a relay that may be bad or has anyone had this issue before? Thank you in advance for any help. Also if there are relay switches where would they be located

sounds like the blower motor resistor needs to be replaced

Thank you for the quick reply, is there any way to test it or the switch with a volt/ohmmeter to verify its bad? again thanks
