1999 chevy suburban tempature guage?

the gauge just wont work i am not shure that its the gauge where is it hooked up to the rad the block .....where should i start...any insight and or advice will be greatly apreacited

Check the sensor on the block. The sensor on the block has to have metal to metal contact. Do not put teflon tape on it if you change it out.

I would start at the temperature gauge on your motor make sure it is connected? Then the radiator sensor, how are the fuses did you check them. Hope this helps out.
