I have a 1999 Chevy Suburban 4WD. I had the transmission replaced about a month ago. Every since I got the truck back the truck shakes or vibrates at a certain speed. Usually it shakes between 50-60 mph. If I have to take off slower in the traffic it starts to shake between 40-50. But today since I did a lot of stopping and starting, it would begin to shake as I took off, but then would pull out at about 20 miles per hour. And it would still shake at 40-50 if I did not get the speed picked up fast enough. Now when there is no traffic on the road and I can drive normally, I can go from 0 -60 with no problems at all. But since the traffic is usually so bad, I almost always feel it between 40-50 and 50-60. It will then act like it got a burst and take off just fine and run normal. What could be the cause for all of this?

Did they forget to reattach the transmission mount? look for missing bolt(s)

do you have a check engine light on?

No, but my Anti lock brake light has been coming on. Then it will shut off if I shut the truck off. And when I restart the truck it stays off.

I have no idea what or where that is. (I am a girl) =)

Is there a reason why you just don't take it back and ask the shop to check?
