1999 chevy malibu..vacuum hose leak?

i know i have a vacuum hose leak, i just need to find it first. BUT my car has been losing a bit of power when i give it some gas. not all the time, just sometimes. would the vacuum hose cause this? or could it be my transmission? it runs great besides this annoying little problem. i have to drive this car 850 miles this week and i'm scared it might break down. any opinions?

your vacuum is power and when you have a bad vacuum leak it can effect the operation of your car. there,s a hose that goes on a modulation valve on the transmission. if you have a modulation valve on the transmission check the hose going to it.
