I just had the seals done on my 1998 Chevy Blazer LS 4x4. It seems to not be shifting correctly. I also will not go into 2 hi or 4 hi it just makes sort of like a camera shutter sound and blinks then goes off. But it did engage into 4lo.
When trying to go up hills I have to floor it for it to go and it takes a few seconds before it gets any speed at all. When driving it seems to not want to shift I had it up to 40mph and the rpms were up at 4,000 rpms and it still did not seem like it shifted into 2nd.
When putting it into gears individually 1st, 2nd and 3rd it seems to engage.
The fluid level is full. It was completely drained torque converter and all and it has a new filter when the seal was put in.
The exhaust was cut by the catalytic converter to get the transmission out for the seals so it is very loud and needs to be welded back on.
I am lost do you have any ideas?
