It was wrecked in February and we got it running this past month after cosmetic repair and such. Anyway, we bought another trucked that was rolled with a rebuilt engine and have been stripping parts off to fix it. It was running fine and then pulled into the drive way and quit. Beforehand, it had been backfiring and popping but otherwise running fine. We've replaced the crank sensor, camshaft sensor, fuel throttle sensor, the coil, brand new spark plugs, and replace the cap in the distributor as the distributor gear is newly replaced. Was a fuel leak but that was fixed. A fuel pump was put on about 2 weeks prior to the wreck and turns on fine. The truck will sometimes hit and nearly start but never does. Otherwise it'll crank until the battery's dead and we have to recharge it. Starter fluid doesn't work, it just makes it fire once or twice. The engine IS getting fuel as the spark plugs do have fuel on them after we've tried to crank it. Can anyone possibly help as to what the cause may be? I'm clueless.
