So, my grandfather's brother owns a 1997 Chevy Silverado (I'd google search this..but I'm not sure what it is I would be looking for since I'm not auto-savy) and he's having brake troubles. Straight from what my grampas note says: front, driver side is sticking / it has smoke that side of brakes / he's put new brakes, calipers. So any idea what this is? Go ahead and diagnose, or throw some ideas out there-WITHIN REASON! Or perhaps there is a site that has loads of fixer-uper info on this particular truck?
Thank you!
Ok, I got a bit more info on the car. Apparently this has happened before, so my grandpas brother replaced EVERYTHING, new parts and all. So it's happening all over again even with the new parts.

i had a problem where my brakes stuck and heated my rim so hot i couldnt touch it without getting a blister

i replaced all rotors and calipers too ( if u replace or turn rotors be sure to change out the brakes)

but the problem persisted

in the end it stopped after i bled the brakes completely and replaced the master cylinder

now i am NOT saying this was the problem but after that i didnt have the problem
mine was a 98 its odd but what can i say its a chevy lmao
