1997 Cavalier Z24 2.4 cranks but no start...Wtf

Hello I have a 97 j body with starting issues. I hear the fuel pump running, but it wont start. It cranks and cranks until it back fires, and she backfires super loud. I have seen other people having issues with the same types of symptoms as mine, but I don't really see how they solved their issues.
So far I have replaced Crank Position sensor, as I had a trouble code for that. I seent posts about the Passlock system and I have a PLJX module that I was told would be able to bypass the passlock system if I could get the vehicle started and have it idle. I was also told that I could use a 2 relay set up to temporarilly bypass the security system, but have issues with the wiring diagrams. If anyone has any suggestions or can point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it. I miss driving my lady in red!

have you checked the fuel pressure? have you checked for spark at the plugs? have you done a compression test? if the check engine light is on what are the codes ? is the security light on constantly?

Start with the basics first. Run the codes and post them. If you know you're getting spark, try a shot of starting fluid and see if it runs. If it runs on the starting fluid, you can guess that the problem is most likely fuel related.
