1995 chevy tahoe please help!

I have a 1995 chevy tahoe, I am pretty savvy with cars and my truck is driving me nuts. It is running really rough and burning through fuel like crazy. I have replaced some components and i cant figure it out, heres what i have done. It was stalling out so I replaced the computer temp sensor and plugged a open port behind the throttle body that might have had a hose on it. the truck ran like new for about a week. discovered a vacuum leak coming from throttle body gasket repaired that no leak, search for leak in other places didnt find anything, i replaced the fuel filter and did some other diag but no luck, replaced plugs and wires checked cap and rotor no luck. its driving me crazy and I want so badly for these problems to by fixed . tonight I used the paper clip trick and it only shot code 12 so no luck there either, its just running rough slightly high idle, not a lot of power unless i really push it at that point it will smooth out slightly and burns through gas like crazy and smells of gas too. help please sorry for the long post..

Guess would be fuel pressure regulator or injector issue.

Have you looked at your spark plugs? Sometimes, they're the best indicator as to what's going on with your engine.

Spark Plugs Are New And WIres , They Look Clean.

How many miles do you have on it? Perhaps the cat con is starting to clog and restrict your exhaust flow.
