I recently purchased this corvette. I noticed the valve covers were leaking. I went to change the rubber gaskets and the current gaskets were cut in order to fit. I ordered OEM gaskets from autozone and checked with all surrounding parts stores and said the gaskets were the ones that fit my car. Well the gaskets were too large for my valve covers. I don't know what to do. Maybe the car's heads have been changed? Do you think it has the lt-4 conversion kit?
Stock lt1 motor. All part stores had the exact gasket.

sure it could be not hard just take them to parts store with ya you know what size motor the year might be off sometimes they use the year before and use up parts id try parts for yr before might help and knowing what size motor should

Who knows what gaskets they brought out to sell. Maybe they thought you had a big block for some reason. And for that matter, what engine do you have? For all we know it is a dodge slant six someone installed because it was available when they blew up the factory engine. I think one of the previous answers was great - take the valve covers to a decent parts store and let them look and get you some fitters. Preferably NAPA or a dealer, not a $7.00/hr autozone.
