i noticed oil leaking on the ground so i looked under my motor and noticed a freeze plug corroded. i didn't think oil would leak from a freeze plug so could oil be leaking from somewhere else? the freeze plug is located near the oil filter and right above the oil cooler lines where they go into the block.

clean off the engine and check where the oil is coming from. If you have a brownish substance in the oil filler cap you may have coolant mixing with the oil. Replace the freeze plug.

ok thanks. i put a bowl under the leak and its just antifreeze. and i think i the oil is coming from the oil pressure sensor on the front of the engine near powering steering pump.

i changed the oil pressure sensor and now my gauge is at about 25 and does not move when i give it gas. before i changed it would go up to about 60 or so when the engine was cold and would drop back down to around 25 or 30 when the engine was hot. is this normal. or could i have an oil leak somewhere else?

Did you mistake a water temp sensor for oil? Did the new one look similar to the old? Either that or the new sensor is bad.
It's normal for oil pressure to drop after the engine warms up. RPM will make it change too

my guess is you have a bad oil sensor, get an AC Delco/GM sensor.
