My chevy is a K3500 7.4L 454 automatic (the label on the tranny says its a turbo hydramatic) with 198,000+ miles on it. I am the third owner and have only put about 5000 of those miles on it. Recently the truck started high reving between gear shifts now it only drives properly in reverse. When put into forward drive gears the engine idle drops to about 200 rpm and the engine stalls. I did the trouble code thing and only got "12". Anybody have any ideas that might help me out?
