I have a 5.7 lt. that I recently had the ignition module go out on. I replaced it and it did fine until the next morning when I started it and it went crazy. It ran rough and the tach was pegging back and forth as if it were possessed. The motor wasn't revving, in fact it acted like the timing was way off. Someone told me to disconnect the battery to "reset" the computer. Well that worked for the remainder of the day, she ran as awesome as ever. The next morning it started all over again... this time I couldn't get her to work right. I replaced the module with a higher end part and she still wouldn't work. through the plan of process of elimination, I replaced the coil and rotor-distributor caps, still no good. Now there is no fuel coming from the injectors and I replaced the fuel pump four months ago along with the inline filter. WTF? Any Ideas?
