Its a 1993 camaro v6 It ran great yesterday and today it would not run. It started, but bogged out after a couple seconds and now it wont start at all. I checked the pressure release valve for the fuel and theres no pressure. Is there anything else I could check before I have to pull the gas tank out?

Question is way too vague. Did you have the key on when you checked the fuel pressure with your hand? If you did, I would test for power at the fuel pump, if its getting power to the pump and no gas to your test then it sounds like the fuel pump. Figure about 850 plus tax for a delco fuel pump assembly installed at a shop with a warranty.

You're probably looking at needing to drop the tank and insert a new/used pump. After clicking a few mouse strokes, I've found that you're looking at $200.00 (U.S.D.) for a used fuel pump only, and about $250.00 (U.S.D.) for an entire used assembly. Assuming you don't want to go with a used part, you could pay $250.00 for a new, Delphi, o.e.m. pump. Either way, you'ld probably be looking around $300.00 shipped to your door.

If you're wondering where I got my information, you can check out the website new-n-usedparts.webs.com. They have a selection of new and used auto parts for you. You can match up the fuel pump cost online and decide which way you want to go.

Good Luck,
