1988 Silverado 350 TBI Dies When Hot

I'm sure this is too late, but what the heck. This problem, according to the Haynes manual, has to do with fuel not getting to the injectors, and yours sounds more serious than most. the heat is keeping fuel from flowing to and out of the injectors properly and this is what needs to be fixed. When it cools it flows, and she starts. I'll even bet there are times after she dies that you wait a minute or two, push the gas pedal down, let go, wait a few seconds, and starter her up. It is likely pressure from the hot air that is preventing proper flow of the fuel. Unfortunately, I don't have the exact answer for how to fix your specific case. Hopefully by know it has been resolved. If it has, and you read this, please let the forum know how you resolved this problem.

We'll probably never hear from him again. Some come and go and apparently, he's one of them.
