1988 corvette wont start but it lights for a few sec?

i have a corvette that a 88 i put a new fuel pump in it and a batter wires plugs i did a tone of work on it and it burned a fuel pump out of it in less then 2 weeks so i dont know what a matter with it oh and no light r on eaither oh and i checked the fuse so i hop u can help me out
no it starts up and dies and i already did the alt
