1984 suburban 454ci 7.4 LT eng. with 80k true mile..NEEDS EXHAUST replaced and tune up.
interior is rough but workable..

I just bought a 1991 Suburban seven or eight months ago with 120,000 miles on it for 2800.00, I have driven quite abit, with no problems. I have towed 10,000 pounds with it, and it handled it fine. ( I don't recommend anyone to two like this, but it is quite capable) It now has 154,000 hard miles on it, the previous owner didn't drive it unless he was camping, and he towed a 24 ft travel trailer everywhere he went with his kids. Is it worn out? No, I don't think so, and I get into it and drive it from mid Washington to California twice a month with no problems fully loaded, and we go without hesitation. It is a great truck, if you could call it a truck.

Yeah, it's worth it, but keep in mind this is a gas guzzler, so if you don't need a good TOW vehicle, you may want to try to find one with a 350, or some OTHER truck.

If the body is fairly clean and the engine and transmission work good, I'd say go for it. Chevy trucks hold their value pretty well.

Hope this helps and good luck
