1974 Nova pictures

This is original paint after wash and wax. I put new air shocks on the back. I put new regular shocks on the front. New R60 15 BF Goodrich raised white letter tires on American Racing ar23 7" wheels. Gives the car a whole new look. Working on new black carpet on the interior, then installing the new bucket seats out of the 84 Camaro. Then a much needed front end alignment. Next the SS package of stripes and decals. Last will be a rebuilt 350.

That is a very nice 74. Hard to believe that's the original paint, it looks so good.

I bought the car in March, 2014. It has 21,000 miles on it. It's original owner died in 1977. Then the car was covered up and left inside a heated garage for 35+ years. Thats why the paint looks so good. The interior is spotless. It had a pea green bench seat and no carpet just a vinyl floor covering, like cheap linoleum.

The good thing about those vinyl floors is they're very easy to clean. I had one in a four wheel drive Ford Ranger years ago and I'd just wet it with my garden hose, scrub it and then rinse it out.

I was driving on the freeway this morning and was noticing how many of todays cars are similar to the old Novas. The lines are very similar and the new cars are smaller in length and look alot like the Novas of the 70s. Novas were definately ahead of their time.

Wow, that's amazing! I had a couple of Novas years ago. I'd love to see more pictures if you have them...

I will post some before and after pics.
