1972 Chevy Nova RS specs question

Hi, I am new to the the forum , I recently came across a 1972 Chevy Nova Rs .It still has the Rally Nova decal.The question is ,what was the original power plant , as it did not come with the motor.I looked online and I am getting conflicting information. Thanks guys.

without the build sheet nobody can give you a definitive answer what your car had. The Rally Sport was a seperate option package which could be added to either the 6 cylinder 250 or the 307 V8 or the 350 V8 2 barrel carburetor.
