1/2T and 3/4T 'Burbs After 2007?

I recall older Burbs had a designation of 1500 or 2500. But it seems the newer ones no longer have that designation. Are the newer ones all 1/2T or all 3/4T? What was the cutoff year?

Looking for a nice older Suburban tow vehicle. I will only be towing a TT of about 5000#, so I think either would work, but I'd like to know how to ID them.

The 2500 ended in 2013. The rear ends are a good way to tell the diff between 1500 and 2500. Read these links for more details.
