05 suburban drivers side heated seats

I have a 2005 suburban and the drivers heated seat keeps turning on by itself. Even when I click it off, it keeps coming on. Also I get a "passenger door ajar" warning when all the doors are shut tight. Any ideas?

One of the passenger door latch switches is defective.
Heat switch, or relay could be bad but both problems require diagnosis with a scan tool.
